Director of Culinary Services
Michael Kuefner came to Thaden with over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. He was the head culinary instructor at Brightwater Center for the Study of Foods (NWACC) for 11 years. He previously worked as an assistant professor at the University of Applied Science in Sigmaringen, Germany and as a research and development chef at 915 Labs in Denver. In 2016 he represented the USA in cooperation with the USDA as a food ambassador for the Gusto Food Trade Show in St. Petersburg, Russia. Michael holds a diplom-ingenieur in food science from the University of Applied Science in Sigmaringen, Germany.
