Director of Culinary Services
Michael Kuefner came to Thaden with over 30 years of experience in the culinary industry. He holds a Dipl. Ing. Degree in Food Science and worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Sigmaringen in Germany. His focus is on Food Safety, Nutrition, and Product development. Michael was the Head Culinary Instructor at Brightwater Center for the study of Foods (NWACC) for 11 years and worked with 915 Labs as a Research & Development Chef. In 2016 he represented the USDA in St. Petersburg, Russia.
