Nick Bower

Nick Bower comes to Thaden from Bentonville West High School, where he taught biology and coached the varsity and Grade 9 Women’s Basketball teams. In addition to a wealth of experience both playing and coaching basketball, Nick brings to Thaden a passion for outdoor education and the natural world. He earned many accolades as small forward on the Eureka Springs High School basketball team, including Arkansas Activities Association All-Star, All-State (2x), and Conference MVP (2x). Nick holds a bachelor's degree in earth science with a minor in biology and a master’s degree in teaching (secondary science education), both from the University of Arkansas. He is also licensed by the state of Arkansas to teach high school life sciences and earth and space sciences.
