Amanda Millikan brings to Thaden 15 years of physical and outdoor education experience via Harding Academy in Nashville, Tennessee and Corbett Preparatory School in Tampa, Florida. In addition to coaching middle school volleyball, soccer, and lacrosse, she has led independent school summer programs and has also taught Red Cross CPR/AED/First Aid certification courses for faculty. Amanda is passionate about her family, outdoor activities, and global travel. She has attended Rugby World Cup tournaments in the United Kingdom and in Japan and the FIFA Women's World Cup in France, hiked Mount Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, and swam with great white sharks in New Zealand. Amanda holds a bachelor's degree in human science from Florida State University and a master's degree in environmental education from Concordia University.
