James Francis Ginty

History and Humanities Faculty

Originally from Los Angeles, California, James Francis Ginty comes to Thaden from The Chapin School in New York City where he taught world and United States history. Prior to Chapin, Mr. Ginty taught history at Miss Porter’s School in Farmington, Connecticut, as well as theater studies at Fordham University. He was a member of The Juilliard School of Drama’s Group 32 and holds a bachelor's degree in history from The University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and a master's degree in education from The University of Pennsylvania.
