Blake Rutherford

History and Social Sciences Faculty

A native of Arkansas, Blake Rutherford brings to Thaden more than 17 years of experience in law and government. He has served as chief of staff and special advisor to three state attorneys general as well as on numerous political campaigns at the local, state, and national level. Most recently, he was co-founder and founding executive editor of SourceStream, a streaming media start-up based in Washington, D.C. He holds a B.A. degree in Political Science from Middlebury College, a J.D. from the University of Arkansas School of Law, and an LL.M from Michigan Law School, where he was associate editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law.
