Helene Mengert

Director of Arts

Born and raised in Atlanta, Helene Mengert brings nearly 20 years of experience in educational theater to Thaden. For 10 years she served as the director of performing arts at Holy Spirit Preparatory School in Atlanta, where she founded the arts program for Holy Spirit’s new upper school. Prior to Thaden, Helene directed and taught drama at Nextstage Theatre in Sun Valley, Idaho. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English with honors from Notre Dame University and a master’s degree in English from the University of Georgia.
